@KarenAndAndrew on the release of your new and extraordinary book, KITCHEN CREATIVITY!”
—Divya Alter, chef-owner, Divya’s Kitchen, the best Ayurvedic restaurant in New York City and perhaps the United States
“A great night. Congratulations
@KarenAndAndrew–a beautiful book!”
—Rikki Klieman, legal analyst, “CBS This Morning”
“Such a special night celebrating the new book #kitchencreativity from my friends @theflavorbible with esteemed chefs @danielboulud @la_boite @chefjkent.”
—Pamela Morgan, caterer, cooking school instructor, and cookbook author
Our heartfelt thanks to esteemed chefs Daniel Boulud (whom it was observed last night has won virtually every category of James Beard Awards over the years, including 1994 Outstanding Chef, 2006 Outstanding Restaurateur, 2009 Outstanding Service, and 2010 Outstanding Restaurant, among others), James Kent, and Lior Lev Sercarz for joining us last night at the 92nd Street Y for the very first event of KITCHEN CREATIVITY‘s book tour.
(Both Kent and Sercarz have worked with Boulud — supporting Team USA for the Bocuse d’Or, which finally won gold in 2017, and as Daniel’s former sous chef, respectively.)
Karen moderated a panel discussion on the topic of unlocking culinary genius which was attended by many home cooks as well as professional chefs and cookbook authors (including Divya Alter, author of What to Eat for How You Feel and chef/co-owner of Divya’s Kitchen, and Pamela Morgan of Flirting with Flavors), and even noted television personalities (thanks to Rikki Klieman!).
Thanks to Little, Brown executive editor Mike Szczerban for his support of KITCHEN CREATIVITY…and thanks, too, to Kitchen Arts and Letters’ Matt Sartwell and to the 92nd Street Y’s Christine Chen for gracing us with their presence and hosting such a warm welcome to the world for KITCHEN CREATIVITY….We’ll never forget it!
